So who is this guy with the woodcrafting experience?  When I was 2 years old, my mom recorded in my baby book that I was getting into my dad’s tools and, by watching him tinker with things, I learned how to use many of them.  I am just one of those people who fell in love with tools and the beautiful things that they helped me create.  And just to be sure that I received a well-rounded mechanical education, at 5 years old my uncle rolled me under the car on a creeper and showed me how to turn bolts and work on cars.

I am a troubleshooter.  Frequently, homeowners will find themselves in a sticky situation with a problem around the house, and instead of winging-it and making things worse, they contact me and together we come to a resolution for the problem.  I know something about pretty much every residential house system, from mechanical, through plumbing, electrical, and structural.  I may not directly work on every aspect of your house, but I know about it and I will know who to call to help.

Finally, you should know that I am a straight-shooter.  I don’t make stuff up and I will never suggest an expensive fix when something can be simple and cheap.  You and I will discuss what needs to be done, get approximate costs, and approach things in a way that will give you a solid quality solution at the lowest possible cost.  Life’s too short to play games and my reputation around our community is too important to me to be cutting corners and inflating costs.
